Review by hotel critic
During our recent Easter getaway, we found ourselves at D'Parys, a charming and charismatic gem tucked away in the lovely De Parys Avenue. The building boasts fascinating décor and an airy atmosphere, making you feel almost like you've stepped into a continental café, perfect for chatting over a pint with friends. Our room was spacious, adorned with quirky touches, and I appreciated the decadent roll-top bath after a long day enjoying the local sights. Breakfast was a feast for the senses, with a tasty selection that had us trying everything from freshly cooked items to croissants that were simply divine. The staff were genuinely engaging and went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable, even accommodating our early arrival so we could decorate for a surprise celebration. It feels like home, providing a true sense of care and community, which is rare in today's travel landscape. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any fellow beer enthusiasts or intrepid travelers seeking a beautiful experience in Bedford. Cheers! 🍻.
